Download New A/L syllabuses and Teacher guides for GCE A/L 2019

National Institute of Education NIE is in the process of preparing syllabuses and Teacher guides for GCE A/L Examination 2019. These syllabuses (Curricula) are to be implemented from 2017 for students who did their GCE O/L (Ordinary Level) examination in 2016 December.

Syllabuses and Teacher guides are being prepared for all A/L subjects:

Commerce Stream subjects (Economics, Business Studies, Accountancy),

Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Combined Mathematics),

Arts Subjects (Sinhala, Political Science, Geography, Logic, Buddhist Culture, Media etc.) and

Technology Stream subjects (Science for Technology SFT, Bio systems Technology, Engineering Technology)
