Future Scientists Wanted! NSF School Science Research Symposium 2026

The 2nd NSF School Research Symposium is scheduled to be held on 10th November 2026 in Colombo. Th is symposium will provide a national platform for the school community to present their research work, fostering an environment where excellence in both students’ and teacher research are duly recognized.

Who can apply?

School students (Grade 9 and above) from government and private schools

Teachers, principals, and educators engaged in research across all sciences, including social sciences and education

Winners of the Kid Naturalist Programme 2025

Important Dates:

14th September 2026 - Extended Abstracts submission

28th September 2026 - Noti cation of acceptance

05th October 2026 - Submission of the camera-ready abstracts

19th October 2026 - Registration deadline
