Applications Open: Certificate Course in Pain Medicine for Medical Officers

The Directorate of Training under the Ministry of Health & Mass Media, in collaboration with the College of Anesthesiologists & Intensivists of Sri Lanka, is calling for nominations for the Certificate Course in Pain Medicine for Medical Officers.

This 10-week, full-time training program will be based at the National Hospital of Sri Lanka (NHSL), with specialized sessions conducted at NHSL and the National Cancer Institute, Maharagama. Participants will be required to commit to providing pain management services at their respective institutions for at least one year following completion.

Eligibility Criteria

Currently appointed to a Medical, Surgical, Pediatric, Obstetric and Gynecological, or Anaesthesia unit.
Working under the direct supervision of a Consultant.
Must be able to be formally released by both the supervising Consultant and the Head of the Institution.

How to Apply:
1. Complete the online application via the Google Form or by scanning the official QR code.
2. Upload a scanned copy of the official nomination letter signed by the supervising Consultant and Head of Institute.
3. Submit a hard copy of the completed nomination form directly to the Director of Training.
