MAKE YOUR OWN : Accordian Alphabet
How to make your Accordian Alphabet Book craft
*With adult supervision, cut four pieces of cardstock in half, lengthwise. Set one of the halves aside. Line the seven remaining pieces of cardstock up and tape them end to end.
* Begin folding the paper back and forth (like an accordion) making sure that each of the panels of paper is folded into four sections. You should end up with a total of 28 squares.
* Stretch the paper out and write the letter "A" on the back of the first folded square.
* Write the letter "B" on the next folded square and continue writing each subsequent letter of the alphabet on a new folded square.
* Turn the paper over and write the letter "a" on the front of the second folded square. Write the letter "b" on the next folded square and continue writing each subsequent letter of the alphabet on a new folded square.
*Once complete, have your child decorate the book with markers or crayons.
*Take the last piece of cardstock and cover the box with it. Decorate the cardstock and write "Alphabet to Go" in the center of it.
*Once your folded alphabet book is done, glue the blank side of the first square to the bottom of the box. Glue the blank side of the last square to the top of the box. Allow the glue to dry completely.
*Your Alphabet to Go is now ready to go! So pull out your book and start learning your alphabet!
